What types of events can I host at Cranberry Mountain?

Whether you're planning a corporate retreat or a wedding, we offer an exceptional venue to make your event truly unforgettable. Examples of events include weddings, corporate retreats, showers, graduation parties, birthdays, family reunions & community events. 

How many guests does Cranberry Mountain accommodate?

Cranberry Mountain offers versatile event spaces accommodating up to 150 guests. Depending on the size of your event, you can choose from a variety of seating arrangements. The main building can host a seated dinner for 90-100 guests, while the pavilion can accommodate 150 guests. Ample seating is available, with tables and chairs included in all packages. Our inventory includes rustic metal chairs (150 count), rectangular eight-foot folding tables seating 8 (19 count), a fourteen-foot rustic live edge table, and a mobile Boat Bar.

Do you provide day of coordination?

While we have experience hosting events, we want to leave the planning to the hard working amazing professionals. For all weddings larger than 51 guests we require a professional and insured day of coordinator. Cranberry Mountain has a preferred vendor option for day of coordination that you may hire, or you may choose to hire your own event coordinator/planner. We truly believe that this is essential in helping clients navigate their wedding day. They can assist with your vendor coordination and also give you peace of mind that your day runs smoothly so you can sit back and enjoy it.

Do you cater or have preferred caterers? 

While we have experience catering events we want to leave the catering to the licensed professionals. We believe that this option allows you flexibility and the opportunity to curate your unique menu for your event. We have an onsite catering kitchen for use by all licensed and insured catering vendors.

What are your guidelines for alcohol?

Cranberry Mountain does not serve or supply alcohol. We do require a “Host Liquor Liability” clause in their required liability event insurance policy that can be purchased through a non-affiliate site for a minimal cost. 

You have two options if having alcohol on premise for your event.

  • Option A: We allow our clients to purchase their own alcohol and hire an insured bartending service to serve it, following Maine state law and regulations. In accordance with Maine state law, this may be a noncash bar only.

  • Option B: Hire a licensed and insured alcohol vendor. There are many licensed vendors for hire in the area.

Do you have on site parking?

We can accommodate on site parking for 50 cars, in the designated parking areas located on the property. All packages include a parking attendant for your event. There is designated parking for up to five vendor vehicles near the pavilion. Should your parking needs exceed the aforementioned, we suggest hiring a transportation company.

Do you have restrooms?

We have two restrooms located in the main building as well as a separate bathroom for caterers and staff. For guest counts of 75 we require sourcing an additional outside restroom.  There are several convenient locations on the property where these can be placed so they are accessible to guests while still being discreet.

Are there specific vendors we need to use?

Simply, No. Our goal is that you are able to create your event to reflect your vision.  We are currently in the process of creating a 'Preferred Vendor Guide' which we hope to provide our future bookings with simplicity in your event planning.
